Amsterdam, The NetherlandsFading images of Indian culture are projected onto the body of a white man.
Malani was a refugee during the separation of India and Pakistan. She uses mythology, documentary footage and animated maps to make giant installations.
The chilling results make you think about how war affects identity and cultures.

Freedom of speech is a little shaky in Turkey, but strong opinions are everywhere at this public art exhibition. The installations (curated by Elmgreen & Dragset, the pair behind the rocking horse on the fourth plinth) can be seen for free all over the city.
