Where will I sleep?

What will I do?

Sloth about the hotel - eating Iberian octopus salad in the Azul e Branco Restaurant 🐙 Or you can hang out in the library bar - think, tiled artwork depicting Portuguese history and squishy brown leather seats. As the sun sets head upstairs to the rooftop bar. Grab a glass of Spanish white and stare out over Lisbon and the Tagus Estuary 🥂

The street you’ll be staying on is tree-lined and swanky with designer boutiques. Browse along it then catch a classic film at Cinemateca Portuguesa - it’s an elegant indie cinema an 11-minute walk away 🎬 Keep going for another five minutes and you’ll hit Anjos70, a non-profit - it does flea markets and yoga classes by day and cabaret by night.

You’ve got to tick off Alfama. It’s one of Lisbon’s oldest districts where the mustard-coloured tram rattles by and Fado music is the soundtrack to your night. Tejo Bar is a buzzy little spot for impromptu jam sessions and Augusto Lisboa is best for traditional eats.
