Where will I sleep?

Your historic country house digs are 20 mins from Windsor Castle. And the elegant Georgian vibes have clearly rubbed off. But don’t get it twisted, the old school vibes are brought up to date with leather banquettes in the dining room, all-white minimalist bathrooms, and punchy colours in the bedroom 🎨

What will I do?

It’d be rude not to abuse the breakfast buffet (it’s included) before beginning your day. You’re only a 45-minute drive from London but secreted away in the woods you’ll feel properly zen. Start your day with a stroll round the 10 acres of manicured gardens or get lost in nearby Burnham Beeches Nature Reserve - a few of the Harry Potter films were filmed here.

After you’ll want to pay a visit to the Queen’s digs. It’s just a 20-minute drive to Windsor Castle 🏰 If you’d rather not see other people (we hear you) spend the day around the hotel. Check ahead about the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. But if they’re closed don’t stress, there’s a Georgian Bar & Lounge with a dreamy terrace for afternoon tea.

Finish your day with a walk to The Blackwood Arms country pub. It takes 40 minutes but goes through the woods… and you did eat all those breakfast pastries. Literally all of them 🥐
