3 Trippy Museums

3 Trippy Museums

Museums for people who hate museums - these guys make Disneyland look dull.

Get your brain twisted at Europe’s top 3 trippy museums...

1. Electric Ladyland

Amsterdam, Netherlands

“MY EYES”

This place is like Alice in Wonderland (on acid) with some rave thrown in, it also happens to be the world’s only museum of fluorescent art. Get high on lights as you explore the maze of colourful rooms lit up with neon phosphorescence (stuff that glows in the dark).

2. Neon Museum

Warsaw, Poland

Finally understand what it feels like to be a moth… #lifegoals.

Warsaw got fast and loose with neon lights in the 60s and 70s (like in Las Vegas). Check out the restored signs from its ‘neonisation’ in the massive SOHO factory - along with lots of arty pop-ups. This is the only place you can wear sunglasses inside without looking like a twat.

3. Jean Tinguely Museum

Basel, Switzerland

Tinguely is Switzerland’s Dali-slash-Einstein.

Artist and mechanic with a dash of mad scientist, he invented a bunch of robotic machines that make weird art. See his batshit installations and interactive works - they’ll squeeze your brain.
