Now, people come for the Mediterranean beaches, fresh grilled fish at local spots, and the stunning national parks surrounding the town.

Where will I sleep?

You check into the 4-star, AR Diamante Beach Hotel and within minutes, you're standing on your balcony, staring out at the honey-coloured beach and the epic Penon de Ifach rock.

Your balcony room is the perfect base - comfy, breezy, and with breakfasts and dinners included, you quickly fall into a routine of buffet feasting and splitting your time between one of the three pools and the spa. It’s got a hydrotherapy pool, Turkish Hammam, Jacuzzi… the works. You might even accidentally wander into the gym.

Then there’s the bike rental. You hop on and cruise along the coast, sun on your face, beach to your left, and town shops to the right.

What will I do?

Start by hiking up the Peñón de Ifach - yeah, it’s a climb, but the panoramic views at the top are chef’s kiss 🤌 Then cool off with a trip to the Algar Waterfalls.

Finally, as the sun sets, float around the Mediterranean on a boat with a glass of bubbly in hand. Perf.
