“Magiczny Kraków” (Magical Kraków) was the ancient Polish capital until Warsaw came and snatched the title off them. Booo.

Kraków is a pillowy pierogi dumpling of a destination. It’s stuffed full of crumbly medieval walls, underground chapels and gothic architecture, plus leafy bars and hole-in-the-wall pubs.

Have a candlelit beer in a creaky cellar bar after meeting the dragon at Wawel Castle. You’ll probably need a shot from Szlanki bar after that…

Where will I sleep?

Your only neighbours are the ducks and fishes, and you're just a 10-minute walk away from the city hot spots. Yep, your hotel is literally floating on the Vistula River.
