Yep, Brown Acropolis might be a stone’s throw from Greece’s best crumbly bits but it’s all about high-end luxe vibes. There's a 9th floor rooftop bar restaurant, with a sundeck and views of the Acropolis, a Hammam spa, and a gym looking out over Lycabettus Hill.

But what about the lewk? Well. It’s baller. These guys have taken their cue from 60s retro, but made it super luxurious with vintage pieces of furniture, Greek marble, and oak wood tables. It’s 10 minutes by bus to KINONO - an all day breakfast spot with industrial vibes (psst! It turns into a jazz bar at night) - but we recommend walking. Your walk will take you through the pretty streets of Plaka. Stop off at Dope Roasting on the way for pistachio rose cookies and a brew. Or do like the locals and head to Bel Ray for a monster-sized croque monsieur.

Come evening head to Mother’s Ruin for pre-dinner cocktails that’ll make your head spin and Marathonitis Tavern for life changing hummus. We’re in.
