Where will I sleep?

What will I do?

Hop on the 500 bus to get to the riverside district of Riberia. This is where the infamous Skittles-coloured houses sparkle in the sun and rugged men prepare heavily salted sardines on their street side grills.

Where to drink first? The neighboring village of Vila Nova de Gaia is where all the port gets fermented before being shipped all over the world. Have a wine cellar crawl and make sure to include Graham’s Port Lodge and Cockburn’s Port Lodge (the jokes write themselves).

The closest rock pools, Piscinas de Mares, are about a 20 minute drive up the coast.
