You’ve probs never heard of Kolymbia, and that’s just the way this village likes it. The vibe is laidback, with Cape Vagia acting like a rocky windbreak for the village’s two beaches - one shingled, one sandy 🏖

Do your best lobster impression on the beach or head to Eucalyptus Street for traditional tavernas, pottery shops, and cheery bars 🍹 There’s also a beaut harbour for boat rides.

Where will I sleep?

Your hotel is an adult’s only retreat so close to the Blue Flag beach that you can wave to the crabs 🦀 The sound of the waves will be your alarm clock. Breakfast is included so head down to one of the hotel’s al fresco eateries for pastries and fresh orange juice 🍊

Splash about in the lagoon-style pool, swimming to the Helios Pool Bar counts as your daily exercise. You’ll also want to check out the hotel’s Ginger Restaurant where meals are served on hot lava rock 🌋

Or, you can get all of Kolymbia’s best bits in your peepers 👀 Start at the winding harbour (it’s a 6-minute walk) for sandy cliff top views and little sailing boats bobbing in the bay ⛵ For local eats and traditional pottery head to Eucalyptus Street - it’s a 15-minute walk away. A strong evening plan is grilled seafood at To Horiatiko followed by cocktails at T&P.
