Lara Beach, eh?

Lara Beach is a trip. It’s basically Vegas with koftas. Come for swanky private beaches (public ones too, chill), big dog hotels, and God-level eats. Blessed.

Just down the road is Europe’s third most visited city - Antalya. Starfish on one of her golden beaches, cable car up the Olympos mountains and have a beer with the Gods, then quad bike through pine forests back on land.

Where will I sleep?

Yes, it sounds like your mum named this hotel, but Trendy Hotels Lara is actually… well… trendy.

Pool and waterpark? Yep, you’ll fully have fins by the end of this trip. Hurl down the six waterslides, starfish in the saltwater pool, or head to the spa for a Turkish bath. More restaurants than you can shake a skewer at (get it? Cos they do kebabs… No? Fine). You’ve got your regular buffet but also specialties from the Far East, Italian eats, and a steakhouse.

But the best bit is the hotel’s private beach just across the river - hop on a free shuttle boat (takes 3 mins) and because you’re staying all incl they provide snacks and drinks too.

What will I do?

Day trip to Side (takes an hour) for Greco-Roman ruins, Perge (20-min drive) for crumbly Greek theatres, and Aspendos (half an hour) for an ancient city time forgot. Antalya itself is a half an hour drive.

Culture not your thing? Okay, Rory McIlroy, super swanky Belek golf courses are a 3-minute drive away. There’s also the Antalya Aquarium… stick with us… this is one of Europe’s biggest and has two cable cars you can take up to the mountains for insane views of the Med.

Still, goes without saying that 90% of your time will be spent on your private beach.
