What will I do?

Explore the coastline on a boat trip to Rabbit Island (Vardiani, for the grown-ups). It’s a titchy stretch of beach backed by whitewashed monasteries. After, head onto Xi, a red sand beach where you can get clay spa treatments and hit-up beach bars.

In the evening, take the 8-minute walk to Tabepna Ionio. This cute taverna is all chequered tablecloths with twisting foliage and orange lanterns. The food is traditional Greek - think, bubbling moussakas with blistered tops, chunky calamari rings, and creamy taramasalata.
