Helona Beach is sitting pretty on the southern shoreline of Kos. It’s quieter than its neighbours with big sandy stretches and swanky hotels. When you’ve had your fill of beach, head to nearby Kardamena for bars.

Where will I sleep?

Your hotel is sandwiched between mountains and beaches - and it’s the meatball marinara filling.

We’ll cut to the chase, it’s adults-only, there’s gin tasting, and a spa with a Turkish Hammam (that’s a bath, Karen). You’ll spend your days hanging out at the Ulysees Lobby Bar pretending you know your Greek mythology, hitting the tennis courts, and hitting the buffet even harder.

What will I do?

Start your day at Lovemade. Fully expect Meryl Street and the cast of Mamma Mia to be getting brunch here. It’s all rainbow flowers, wicker baskets, and twisty olive trees. Stop by O Daskalos too, for coffee on the cobbles with a side of people watching and friendly tabby cats. For fancy pants eats with a side of Agean sea, try NOA Beach Bar.
