Come for the smurfy blue waters at Lee Beach and locals who love nothing more than a chat.

Where will I sleep?

Your hotel sits snugly on the hillside just above Pefkos village with a pool overlooking the sea.

The owners will make you feel like part of the family, making sure your fresh juice and coffee is topped up every morning and ushering you to try their homemade cakes (breakfast is included). Legends.

To burn off your brekkie, it´s a 20-minute downhill stroll (or bike ride if you back yourself) to the village’s tavernas – you're around the same distance from a teeny sandy cove, too.

Owner Vangelis has built up a solid rep for the dolmades (stuffed vine leaves) made from his mum´s recipe. Aww. His chef Michalis also serves up traditional Greek dishes a modern twist – try the beetroot and village sausage kleftiko and cinnamon-flavored halva. Be sure to book ahead to get a space in the garden - there´s also a pool if you fancy a pre-dinner dip.

Day-tripping to Lindos when in Pefkos has also gotta be done. Hop on a glass bottom boat for a pilgrimage to the ancient Acropolis peering over the bay. This is your kingdom.
