Either way’s likely when you’re sledding, husky dog style, through the frozen winter of Finland.

Dog sledding, or ‘mushing’ as the profesh sledders call it, drifted over to Finland from Alaska (that other tear-freezing Narnia world).

Finnish dogs that were already being used to herd reindeer were strapped to sleighs and used for zipping across the snow to visit Santa.

Strap in, buckle up and hold tight as a team of the cutest public transport drivers ever whisk you through Finland’s frozen landscape. Woooof!

This Husky Safari is in Parpalandia, an hour outside of Rovaniemi (pick-up is available). With pick-up, the experience lasts 3 hours, costs €125pp and includes a guided hike, thermal outerwear, pick up from Rovaniemi, and hot drinks 🎉
