TodaysArt Festival
The Hague, Netherlands
This year, there’s Haushcka (your man with the vibrator), Ata Kak (a lost Ghanaian frenetic rap master, discovered from a carboot sale of a cassette of his album), and Hatsune Miku. She's an animated pop-star, dreamt up by artist Mari Matsutoya. A community of online fans write the songs that the cartoon pop star sings. It represents the idea that all pop-stars exist for us to project our own emotions onto… Deep brah.
Guess Coldplay missed their invite.

TodaysArt are hijacking some of The Hague’s classier venues (the National Theatre and the royal Koninklijke Schouwburg) and pouring artsy weirdness into them for all to enjoy.
There’s concerts, clubs, exhibitions, art installations, panel talks and more over the two days.
This year’s theme? ‘The opacity of algorithmic systems’.
Oh TodaysArt, you so cray.
