Top 5 Festivals 2019

TOP 5 FESTIVALS 2019

'Cos nothing beats the taste of warm, flat beer first thing in the morning 🤘

This is LuckyTrip's guide to the Top 5 Festivals this summer...

1. Flash Festival

Tuscany, Italy

All the things Italy does best wrapped up and dipped in wine. Flash Festival is 3 magical days of music, food and local experiences in the sunny Tuscan hills. We likey.

Spend your days biking through the hills, learning to make pasta with nonna or drinking local wine by the pool. Basically what summers are made for. This year’s line up includes Dan Shakes, CC:Disco! and Chaos In The CBD - see more here.

16th – 18th May 2019

2. Monticule Festival

Cahors, France

A festival where you leave feeling better than when you arrive… Monticule is the unicorn of all European festivals 🦄

A combo of German club maestros (techno yah) and rub-your-eyes French scenery, the hillside is taken over by music, art installations and the good vibes of 1,500 beautiful people. This year the The Zenker Brothers are joined by Berliners Sascha Funke and Fantastic Twins and French DJs Simo Cell and Oko DJ.

19 – 23 June 2019

3. Another Love Story

Co. Meath, Ireland

Another Love Story is as much of a frame of mind as it is a festival. Art, music and wellness knit together to create a sustainable utopia of good vibes 👍

Local musicians, storytellers and theatre folk take over the grounds, installations pop up like daisies and the bohemian-style ballroom becomes a psychedelic rave. The first line up has been announced feat. Christian Loffler (Live) and The Redneck Manifesto.

16th - 18th August 2019

4. Meadows in the Mountains

Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria

Like a Rainbow Gathering with a bit less nudity and psychedelics. Meadows in the Mountains festival frees the dirty hippie in us all…

Independent artists play a mix of soul, disco and folk, which echoes through the misty valley like whispers from pagan Gods. It's packed with environmental art (think recycled tire sculptures), underground music acts and 24/7 yoga classes, all wrapped up in the magical woodlands of the Rhodope mountains.

6th - 9th June 2019

5. Southern Soul

Ulcinj, Montenegro

“Sun, sea and soul”

That’ll work. Soul, jazz and funk battle it out on Velika Plaza - the longest stretch of sandy beach in Europe. Expect massive sandcastle sculptures and spider crab effigies. Course.

Leave your shoes at home and dance barefoot to Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, Hailu Mergia and Native Dancer.

26th June - 1st July 2019
