Barafundle Bay

Fun to say, even more fun to frolic on.

This guy is nestled into the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, making it ideal for long cliff top walks. It’s scooped out of the bay with a curvy, sandy beach and craggy rocks to explore.

Traeth Mawr

Pick your way through the dune footpath and drop down onto one (basically) endless sweep of sand ⛱ And breathe.

Aberffraw’s Traeth Mawr beach is long and flat with fluffy dunes on one side. Bonus - this is one of the best beaches in the UK for dog walkers 🐩 Bring the whole fam to this spot - remember kids travel for free with Transport for Wales.

Traeth Mwnt

Traeth Mwnt is sandwiched between a whitewashed chapel that’d be more at home in Greece and a cute cafe.

Take the stairs down to a u-shaped stretch of sand that’s shielded by crumbly cliffs. Destroy your phones storage by taking 1000’s of photos 📸 Job done.

Ginst Point

Like your beaches with a side of teenage rom-com angst? Ginst Point is only open in the evenings (4-8pm) and you’ll usually be all on your tod. Ideal for long moody looks out to sea and kicking up sand dramatically 💔

Llyn Peninsula

Picking a favourite Llyn Peninsula beach would be like picking your favourite child. Impossible.
