Just outside of Lisbon, Sintra’s an olde-worlde cobbled town on Portugal’s stunning Silver Coast.

But there’s more… hop on a bus up the mountain and you’ll see Sintra’s packing more colourful castles than an episode of Adventure Time.

Where will I sleep?

The glamorous Sintra Marmòris Palace – you’re basically royalty now.

Tucked between the town of Sintra and magical Pena Palace, this manor house, built back in the 19th century, has a secret garden, heated outdoor pool and rooms built for a king (literally).

Make sure you pack your crown, cos your stay comes with countryside views, breakfasts and enough space to swing a royal cat.

What will I do?

3 ugly sisters? Nahh, Sintra’s got 3 stunning palaces, each weirder than the last. Stay on the path though – the catles' misty gardens are full of surprises…

Once you’ve been kicked out for kissing frogs, head down the coast to some of the prettiest beaches in the world (nudists welcome if that's your vibe). Seafood, white wine and custard tarts will finish off the days nicely.
