The traffic light system... what's the tea?
The traffic light system means countries are being colour-coded based on their restrictions, testing, and Covid-19 risk 🚦 Basically, if a country is on the green list that means...
❌ NO self isolation on returning home
✅ YES you need a Covid-19 test
✅ YES you need a passenger locator form
Remember! You’ll need a certified antigen (lateral flow) test to take with you and use within 72 hours of your return flight home.

What about the entry requirements for green list countries?
GREAT question. Somebody give that kid a cookie🍪
Each of the places on the green list has its own rules about who can visit. For up-to-date info check the foreign travel advice website. Here’s a brief breakdown on what’s what (accurate at time of writing)…
For Portugal:
💚 You’ll have to prove you’ve had the vaccine, have immunisation or a negative PCR test. If you’re off to the Azores for longer than seven days you’ll need a second test on the 6th and 12th day.
For Israel:
💚 A PCR test before boarding your flight and an antibody test to prove you’ve been vaccinated on arrival.
For Iceland:
💚 Open to fully-vaccinated travellers. Your UK NHS card will work as proof of vaccination. When you arrive you’ll have to take a (free) test and limit contact whilst you wait for the results (usually six hours)
For Gibraltar:
💚 You won’t need a test at the border but you have to let authorities know if you’ve traveled outside the EU in the previous 14 days.
