Earlier this week, we went viral on TikTok thanks to Jade and Ryan from Live The Dash. Using LuckyTrip they found a trip to Portugal, flights and accommodation included, for less than a train ticket from Manchester to London. Neat.

With great publicity comes great traffic. We had 30k downloads in one day. We became number one on the app store’s travel chart and the number three app of the whole app store – beating giants like TikTok and WhatsApp. Suck on that, Zuckerberg.

Unfortunately, with that much traffic, our servers decided to knock off work early. Then our tech team stayed late and got them working again. Not all heroes wear capes.
