Where will I sleep?

The Montmartre district is Paris turned up to 11. Your hotel is within walking distance of all the best bits but set back from the tourist trail.

Struggling to find it? The Originals Boutique is the one that looks like a particularly challenging game of Jenga… with slate grey levels stacked on top of one another at odd angles. Inside it’s just as modern, with black pendant lamps and fancy bathrooms. But vintage touches like the retro repeat pattern artwork and colouful tiling warm things up.

What will I do?

You’re a 10-minute walk to Saint-Ouen flea market, and 20 minutes to Montmartre Hill and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica. Tick them off then catch a show at the Moulin Rouge.

For a late dinner, we like Bonne Aventure (a 10-minute walk) for picture-perfect plates of cockles, sides of pickled veggies, and basil strawberries with silky ice cream for dessert.
