Ah Sicily… it’s like someone smushed the best bits of Italy into one concentrated island.

Where will I sleep?

Your adults-only spot is hidden away in the peaceful Sicilian village of Gaggi. Little villas are scattered around a huge 15,000m² garden, all circling two big pools.

Get on the tennis court or even a horse, the folks here can sort you out with all kinds of hikes and excursions. If not, the sun terrace and loungers are perfectly positioned for doing absolutely nothing, apart from the occasional dip when the Sicilian sun starts showing off.

Mornings kick off with a free breakfast packed with sweet and savoury options, and later on Restaurant Le Cascate steps in with Mediterranean dishes and proper Sicilian classics.

What will I do?

Nothing says ‘I’m in Italy baybee’ like some good ol’ pasta making. Pick out fresh ingredients from a local market, then roll up your sleeves for a Sicilian cooking class.

Work it all off with a hike up Europe’s highest active volcano and gawk at black lava fields, steaming craters, and the wild landscapes of Valle del Bove.

Then head back down to Taormina Town and have a wander around the clifftop ruins of the Ancient Theatre of Taormina.
