Vasia Ormos is a beaut. Looking out over the bay, this adults only hotel is for hardcore chilling. It’s got 2 freshwater pools, 2 restaurants (Cretan and international cuisine) and 2 bars. Note that the restaurants are ‘smart casual’ after 6:30pm so shorts won’t fly.

What will I do?

Head to the nearby beaches - they’re travel-brochure-beautiful or take a boat ride around the bay to find ancient churches.

Agios Nikolaos is a short walk from the hotel and the perfect place to find a lunch spot. Streetside cafes and restaurants looking over the colourful harbour serve up the best of the island’s cuisine 🐙
