It's time for... Granada It's time for... Granada

Granada, Spain

“Hello muddha, hello faddah… Here I am in Camp Granada…”

If that’s the first thing you think of when you hear ‘Granada’ the second should be that bloody massive palace, The Alhambra.

The Moorish beaut hangs out below the Sierra Nevada mountains, looking over Spain’s steamiest city (26° in June).

Granada dances to its own tune. There’s hillside caves with gypsy Flamenco dancing, and dusky tearooms with locals smoking ‘cachimbas’ (hookah pipes).

And they do that classic Andalucian thing where you eat for free! Yep, in bars across the city you get a free tapas with every drink you buy.

Some stick to the famous cheese and ham but you’ll also find mini sliders and fried mozzarella balls - no need for a tactical Nando’s here.

It gets desert hot in July and August so go now if you lurvvvv the heat.
