Earlier this week, we went viral on TikTok thanks to Jade and Ryan from Live The Dash. Using LuckyTrip they found a trip to Portugal, flights and accommodation included, for less than a train ticket from Manchester to London. Neat.

We weren’t expecting what happened next... we had 40k downloads in a day and became number one on the App Store’s travel chart and the number three app of the whole App Store – even above the big dogs TikTok and WhatsApp. Wow.

But then... with that much traffic our servers took a massive KO to the face for about six hours before everything was up and running again. Phew. Time for a cold one and to call mum.
